A study session of Latin during the Philosophy excursion
The Societas Philosophica was officially established in 2007 by Mr Mercier, although it began some months before ‘unofficially’, ‘clandestinely’, when a number of students gathered together at any moment, once a week, to exchange opinions about the real things of life: Truth, beauty, life, good and evil. At present it meets every Friday during break and has attracted a diehard following of dedicated free thinkers.
When the Society became official, some students who wanted to know more and develop solid thinking structures were invited to share in our discussions following rigorous arguments and, of course, learning what the Masters have said about different topics throughout History.
Programme:
1. Metaphysics and Philosophy of Nature
2. Philosophical Anthropology
3. Ethics
4. Logic
5. Gnoseology
6. History of Ancient Philosophy
7. History of Medieval Philosophy
8. History of Modern Philosophy
