Subjects

The school comprises of an average of 800 learners who are tutored by approximately 50 academic staff members.

The following subjects are offered in the Further Education and Training (FET) phase

Grades 10-12

Compulsory Subjects

- ENGLISH (Home Language)
- AFRIKAANS or ISIZULU (First Additional Language)
- MATHEMATICS or MATHEMATICAL LITERACY
- LIFE ORIENTATION

Learners may then choose a further three subjects from the following:

- PHYSICAL SCIENCE
- ACCOUNTING
- BUSINESS STUDIES
- INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)
- COMPUTER APPLICATION TECHNOLOGY (CAT)
- LIFE SCIENCES
- HISTORY
- GEOGRAPHY
- VISUAL ARTS

Additional optional Choices:

- ADVANCED PROGRAMME MATHEMATICS (IEB)

Promotion Requirements:

40 % in Home Language (English) and two other subjects
30 % in the remaining subjects
Learner is only allowed to fail one subject (at below 30%)
