I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and boys for the awesome welcome they afforded me as the new Principal at this prestigious scholastic institution. I also thank Mr Clarke for the professional manner in which he handled the handover. He has left me with a school that has all the systems and mechanisms in place, in short a well oiled machine that works.

I will take the rest of the year to come to grips with the systems that are in place at Parktown Boys’, not just how they work but the thought processes behind them. Until then it is business as usual as we concern ourselves with curriculum delivery and giving the boys opportunities to express themselves in the sporting and cultural arenas.

It is an honour and a privilege to work in a school like Parktown and I will endeavour to build forth on what my predecessors have left me.
